Claims Consultant (Bodily Injury and Property Damage Adjuster)
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve bodily injury and property damage claims
- Ensures that claims are analyzed for coverage and are adjusted and paid within company guidelines
- Stay on an active diary system
- Capable of working with vendors, lawyers, independent adjusters, investigators, and others involved in the claims process
- Monitor expenses paid to ensure effective cost management
- Manage the salvage process
Requirements:
- 3+ years bodily injury claims experience
- Adjuster license or willingness to obtain
- Strong people skills: strong written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with numerous individuals involved in the claim process
- Capable of working and collaborating with team members
Claims Consultant (Cargo Adjuster)
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve lost, damaged, or delayed cargo claims
- Ensures that claims are analyzed for coverage and are adjusted and paid within company guidelines
- Stay on an active diary system
- Capable of working with vendors, lawyers, independent adjusters, investigators, and others involved in the claims process
- Monitor expenses paid to ensure effective cost management
- Manage the salvage process
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Adjuster license or willingness to obtain
- Strong people skills: strong written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with numerous individuals involved in the claim process
